A Quick Look Back – And a Long Look Ahead
Whoa! What a year it has been and now we have dipped a toe into 2026. We have had learned a lot this year from the conferences that we attended in places like Chicago, St. Louis, and even Mexico! We also have had the privilege to learn alongside you during our client event in September, featuring Amy Florian from Corgenius and her discussion on dementia. All of our experiences have already begun to lead us into new thoughts on future events and how best to be a place of support and connection for all of our clients.
From every experience and conference we attend, we bring back new and exciting things to share with all of you. We aim to be intentional and speak the language you understand and provide you with the services you need.
As we begin 2026, we hope to continue to provide more opportunities and consistently be your go-to stop for anything life may send your way. We will also always appreciate a quick hello if you ever find yourself in Downtown Neenah.

As we move another year into the future, please let us know if you would like to cut down on paper mail by setting all your communications up for paperless delivery.
Monthly summaries, account statements, tax documents, trade confirmations, etc. can all be sent electronically.
If you are interested in getting online access to your account set up, please just reach out and we can help you access your information.
We are also pushing forward with paperless and digital account opening and maintenance through most custodians. This means we use things like Docusign and other online applications
We also send emails, post important and helpful information on Facebook, and strive to have information available on our website!
Please “like” us on Facebook! 😊

It’s our favorite topic…TAXES! Just a reminder that initial 1099’s come out early in the year, end of January; into early February for all accounts. Just a reminder that 1099-DIV can be amended by the fund companies as late as March.
Check if your account it is set up for paperless. You could receive your tax documentation as soon as it’s available instead of waiting for snail mail.
If you have any questions regarding paperless, please feel free to reach out!

- Determine your net worth. You can determine your net worth by subtracting your liabilities (what you owe) from your assets (what you own). This figure offers a great window into your overall financial health. A positive net worth is a sign of strong financial health. A negative net worth may mean there’s room for improvement, though that’s not always the case.
- Check for financial red flags. Look at your bank account and credit card bills from 2025 or leverage an app or software to do so. Signs that you may need to adjust in 2026 include rising debt, inconsistent savings patterns, and living paycheck to paycheck (common among even high earners).
|
- Plan for the year ahead. Determine your projected income for 2026, estimate your fixed and flexible spending, and determine your savings goals for the year. Ensure your income is greater than your spending and savings goals. In addition to an emergency fund designed for large unexpected expenses, consider adding a cushion or “buffer,” which is designed for any unexpected spending during a pay period.
- Know you Limits. IRA contribution limits have been increased for 2026. Make sure you know where you stand and how to best to utilize your contributions. Age factors may apply but you can always reach out if you have questions.
|
- Let’s talk. If you have any questions about your investments or wealth management goals in 2026, I would be happy to sit down and talk through your portfolio. Regular reviews help ensure your strategy meets your current needs and goals.

I received these words in a holiday card from a friend and I found them so beautiful, I just had to share with all of you. “May your holiday and new year hold times of peace amid the inevitable stress, enough smiles to more than balance the tears, and all the joy your heart can hold!” ~Christine Rondeau Financial Advisor CFP ®
